Want to put together the ultimate flower garden cleanup kit? All it takes is two things: a good pair of clippers and a basic 5-gallon plastic bucket. Keep these two items by your back door, and carry them with you every time you head out to look at your flowerbeds. While you’re admiring the beautiful blooms, snip off the dead or dying ones, and toss them into the bucket. Finish the tour with a trip to your compost pile, and empty the contents of the bucket so it’s ready for the next trip. There’s no easier way to keep your flowers looking picture-perfect!
